The Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian
The Rev. Dr. Paul Haidostian, president of Haigazian University in Beirut, Lebanon, will discuss “Armenian Educational Life in Lebanon: Haigazian University” at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Business Building, Room 191).
The free, public presentation is part of the Armenian Studies Program Fall Lecture Series, which is supported by the Leon S. Peters Foundation.
Haidostian will discuss the mission of Haigazian University in the context of Armenian life in Lebanon and how it faces a variety of challenges related to regional tensions, socioeconomic problems of its students, as well as securing a stable financial future.
