Mexican singing star Pepe Aguilar is the latest big-name Grammy Award winning artist to announce a 2017 concert date at the Save Mart Center at Fresno State, adding to the appearances of Bruno Mars and Blake Shelton.
The Save Mart Center announced Monday that tickets for Aguilar’s April 23 concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2.
Aguilar, son of Mexican icons Antonia Aguilar and Flor Silvestre, has earned nine Grammys and sold over 13 million records. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and continues to occupy top spots on the Billboard charts. Some of his latest hit songs include “Prometiste,” “Mi Credo,” “Perdono y Olvido” and “Me Vas a Extrañar.”
Produced by Live Nation, Bruno Mars’ tour will make 85 stops worldwide to promote his new album, “24K Magic.”
Mars, known for hit songs like “Grenade” and “Treasure” and for being featured in Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” has earned four Grammy Awards and has sold over 170 million singles and 26 million albums worldwide.
Shelton’s “Doin’ It to Country Songs” takes songs from his new album, “If I’m Honest,” which was the best-selling country album this year. The album spent four weeks on top of the Billboard Country albums chart. Recording artists RaeLynn, who was selected as part of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and one of Pandora Radio’s “Country Artists to Watch,” will open for Shelton.
