Bulldogs honor students Feb. 18 with special uniforms, giveaways, effort to break student attendance record

Fresno State students are expected to overflow the student section at 3 p.m. Feb. 18 when the Bulldogs men’s basketball team hosts New Mexico on national television for Student Night. In an effort to honor the student body and recognize the student-athletes competing for the University, the Bulldogs will wear one-of-a-kind black Nike uniforms, which will have the word “STUDENT” printed on the backs. During the game, one Fresno State student will win a free Apple Watch and the first 1,000 students will receive free tacos in one of the nation’s largest taco giveaways ever. Fresno State students receive free admission (and one guest free) for all home men’s basketball games by showing their valid Fresno State student ID cards at the northeast entrance to the Save Mart Center on game day. Also after the game, the annual alumni scrimmage will feature former Bulldogs returning to the hardwood for a spirited, friendly competition.
