Maddy Report to discuss education and charter schools March 11

The Maddy Report will air at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 11, on ABC 30 with the topic, “A Closer Look at Charter Schools.” The 30-minute program is hosted by Mark J. Keppler, executive director of the Maddy Institute, and will feature California State Auditor Elaine Howle. At 10 a.m., The Maddy Report: “Are Education Reforms and Charter Schools the Answer?” will air on Newstalk 580 and 105.9 KMJ radio featuring Howle, Laura Hill of the Public Policy Institute of California and Dan Walters of CalMatters. The Spanish-language version of the report, El Informe Maddy Report, “Governor’s Brown’s Last Budget: Caution Despite Surplus,” will air at 7:30 a.m. on UniMas 61 with host Maria Jeans and will feature Edgar Cabral of the Legislative Analyst’s Office and Alexei Koseff of the Sacramento Bee.
