California Army National Guard commander to speak at ROTC Bulldog Battalion event

Maj. Gen. Lawrence Haskins, commander of the California Army National Guard, will be the guest speaker for the Fresno State Army ROTC Commissioning Ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, at the Satellite Student Union. Haskins provides oversight and guidance to the soldiers of the California Army National Guard, a force of more than 15,000.

Fresno State’s Army ROTC Bulldog Battalion will promote 14 graduating cadets to U.S. Army second lieutenant during its Spring Commissioning Ceremony that celebrates graduating seniors. The commissioning event is free to guests and open to the public.
