Latin jazz artist Pete Escovedo will lead a percussion seminar at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, in Music 127. The seminar will be attended by about 40 students from Fresno State, Fresno City College and local high schools. While the seminar is closed to the public, members of the media are invited to attend. The Pete Escovedo Latin Jazz Orchestra will present a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Concert Hall. Concert tickets, $60 each, are a fundraiser for the United Negro College Fund Fresno Chapter.
