The Fresno State Downtown Center will offer the next class in the Division of Continuing and Global Education “Brew U” series, “Craft Beer 201: Home Brew Challenge” beginning Saturday, Jan. 12. The “Craft Beer 301” course provides hands-on learning for aspiring home-brewers and beer enthusiasts. They will compete with other teams to develop the best custom “Brew U” beer recipe. The team with the best recipe will have their beer produced by Full Circle Brewing Co.

The course will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 12, 19 and 26 at the Downtown Center located in the Bitwise South Stadium building; and from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23 at Full Circle Brewing Co. Students must be 21 or older to enroll, are required to pay a $20 materials fee for recipe ingredients and pay a $350 class fee. Registration is recommended by Jan. 4.
