The Student Health and Counseling Center, in collaboration with the American Heart Association and the Partnership for a Healthier America, present “Keep the Beat Alive” from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Speaker’s Platform near the Henry Madden Library.

Every 30 minutes, students, faculty and staff can learn “Hands-Only CPR” from the American Heart Association. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win two free tickets to see Dierks Bentley perform at the Save Mart Center on Friday, Feb. 15, compliments of President Joseph I. Castro and First Lady Mary Castro. The winners of the drawing will be randomly selected from those who participate, and will have the opportunity to view the concert in the president’s suite alongside the Castros.

Fresno State’s Community Health Mobile Unit will be on-site offering free cholesterol screenings, diabetes screenings and blood pressure checks. The event will also include an appearance by Victor E. Bulldog III, valentine-making, free fruit and condom roses, and more.
