Pianist Dénes Várjon will perform a selection of works by various acclaimed composers in the Philip Lorenz International Keyboard Concert series at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in the Concert Hall.

Várjon was the first prize winner at the 1991 Géza Anda International Piano Competition in Zürich, and remains one of today’s most gifted Hungarian musicians. His artistic activities have included collaborations with many distinguished conductors as well as appearances at the international festivals of Marlboro, Salzburg and Edinburgh.
