Fresno State officials will celebrate a ribbon cutting and open house for its newly named Veterans Resource Center on campus at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at University Center 101. The Veterans Resource Center (formerly known as the Veterans Services Office) in its new, larger space offers services and resources for veterans who are transitioning from military service into student life. It also provides veterans and active duty students a place to connect with others who’ve been through similar service experiences.

Fresno State, which has 325 veterans in its 24,000-plus student body, has a long history of providing services and a high-quality education for veterans, active service members, reservists and their dependents.
