University Theatre presents “As You Like It,” written by William Shakespeare. The production is directed by Kathleen McKinley and runs Dec. 6 to 14, at the John Wright Theatre at the Speech Arts building on the campus of Fresno State. All performances at 7:30 p.m. except for a 2 p.m. matinee on Dec. 8. No performance Dec. 9. Tickets are $17 general; $15 for Fresno State faculty, staff, alumni and military; and $10 for students. Children under 5 not admitted.

Shakespeare’s sparkling comedy of betrayal, courtship, lust, and mistaken identity has been updated to a modern time-period. The daring Rosalind, unjustly banished, casts off societal constraints and unexpectedly finds truest love in this gender-bending romance. Parking is free for shows on Friday through Sunday night. For shows on Tuesday through Thursday night, $5 parking permits are required.
