Dr. K. Mark Weaver, the Thomas H. Daigre Endowed Chair of Business at Louisiana State University, will discuss how family business compete with large firms at an Institute for Family Business program Feb. 4 at California State University, Fresno.
Weaver will speak on “Competing with the Giants: How Family Firms Do It” from 4-6 p.m. in the Smittcamp Alumni House on campus. He has consulted for businesses of all sizes nationally and internationally and will discuss how small and family businesses can compete against large firms and thrive.
The Institute for Family Business is housed in the Craig School of Business at Fresno State.
