A photo exhibition, “Life of Gandhi,” will be on display Sept. 20 – Oct. 7 in the Henry Madden Library in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, the observance of the birthday of Mahatma Ghandi. A candlelight vigil for world peace, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 and a community celebration 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 will be held in the Fresno State Peace Garden at the bust monument to Gandhi (just north of the library). Participants are encouraged to bring flowers. Admission is free for all events.
