As proclaimed by President Obama, Fresno State will observe the Day of Remembrance for President John F. Kennedy , by flying the university’s flags at half-staff on Nov. 22 until sunset. The campus directive by Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro pertains to flags at the Rose Garden, in front of the North Gym, at the Save Mart Center and at any Athletics venue where events are hosted by Fresno State. It is the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy, 35th president of the United States.
