Nominations are now being accepted for the John D. Welty Award for Excellence in Community Service, a $2,500 scholarship for a Fresno State student who exemplifies the commitment to service that retired President John D. Welty championed during his 22 years with the university. Eligible candidates must be in good academic standing and have completed a minimum of 150 accredited service hours.
