Fresno State’s CineCulture and Filmworks will present a screening of the independent documentary “The Wandering Muse” at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at the Tower Theater (815 E. Olive Ave.) in Fresno. “The Wandering Muse” is a unifying story of the music of diaspora-Jews living outside of Israel. Director Tamás Wormser goes around the world, from Argentina to Berlin, to show the multifaceted musical convergence and its impact on Jewish identity. Screening sponsors for the film include Fresno Jewish Film Series and Fresno Folklore Society. Tickets, which are $10 for general admission and $8 for students and seniors, can be purchased at the Tower Theatre or on the Filmworks website.
