The CineCulture Film Series presents “Racing Extinction” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 18, in the Peters Educational Center Auditorium (west of Save Mart Center in the Student Recreation Center) followed by a discussion led by Dr. Heather Rally. The 90-minute film brought together a team of artists and activists to expose the hidden world of extinction with never-before-seen images that will change the way we see the planet. Rally, who was involved in the film’s production, is a veterinarian in the Captive Animal Law Enforcement department of the PETA Foundation. The presentation is sponsored by the Beth Ann Harnish Lecture Series, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Earth Day Fresno, and Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. All films screened on campus are free and open to the public. Parking is free on the weekends and after 4 p.m. on Fridays.
