New York Times bestselling author Kate Schatz and illustrator Miriam Klein Stahl will discuss their new picture book, “Rad Women Worldwide: Artists and Athletes, Pirates and Punks, and Other Revolutionaries Who Shaped History,” from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in the Madden Library (room 2206). The book, a collection of biographies on feminists around the world, is a follow up to their previous book, “Rad American Women.” Refreshments will be provided. Schatz and Stahl will sign books after the discussion. The free, public event is presented by the Women’s Studies Program and the College of Social Sciences.
