The Chicano and Latin American Studies Speaker Series at Fresno State continues with “Report from the Border” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, a lecture that will be followed by a screening of Rory Kennedy’s HBO documentary “The Fence” in the Education building (Room 140). Co-sponsored by the departments of Chicano and Latin American Studies and Political Science and the Ethics Center, the free, public talk will be presented by Rev. Robin Hoover, recipient of Mexico’s national human rights award. Since 1986, his work has focused on serving as an advocate for migrating people.
