The Fresno State Community Health Mobile Unit will be at the West Fresno Family Resource Center (1802 E. California Ave.) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 22, to provide free health services to the community, including diabetes and blood pressure screenings, health assessments, education and referrals. This coincides with the Fresno State iFuture event, which educates youth on health and human service career options, and the center’s “Spring Into Health” event that will include food distribution to the community. The mobile unit, coordinated by Fresno State nursing faculty and students, will travel to various rural communities in Fresno County this year, offering free health services to those who do not have readily available access to health care.
