The Jewish Studies Spring Lecture Series will conclude with a screening of “Denial” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, in McLane Hall (Room 161). The film is based on the critically acclaimed book “Denial: Holocaust History on Trial” and focuses on author Deborah E. Lipstadt’s legal battle against holocaust denier David Irving. After being sued for libel for calling Irving a holocaust denier, Lipstadt and her legal team were forced to prove the historical accuracy of the holocaust. The lecture series began in March and is sponsored by the Jewish Studies Certificate Program. INFO: Jill Fields at jfields@csufresno.edu or 559.278.2153.
