The first of the Lyles College of Engineering’s annual Engineering Summer Camps at Fresno State began Monday and run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 19 through 23 for grades 6 to 8. The second camp, for grades 9 to 12, will run June 26 to June 30 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The camps, held in the Engineering East building on campus and on the E.D.G.E. Challenge Ropes Course, highlight the environment and sustainability and include hands-on activities combined with academic lectures and water resources and treatment experts. Students will also experience a variety of engineering activities such as construction management, civil, electrical, geomatics and mechanical engineering. Both camps are held on campus.
