The 14th annual Parker’s Pals blood drive and marrow registration will be from noon to 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 11, at the Save Mart Center. Parker Fritsch has collaborated with the Central California Blood Center since the age of four. Fritsch was diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2002. As a blood and marrow recipient twelve years ago, he gives back to the community as a way of thanking community members for the gifts they’ve donated to local patients like him. Over 6,000 pints of blood have been collected and hundreds of potential bone marrow donors have registered through Be The Match. All blood donors and bone marrow registrants will receive a Parker-designed T-shirt and be entered to win Save Mart Center event tickets and more. Parking will be free on the day of the drive.
