CLCC - Fresno State

Participation forms for the 42nd Annual Chicano/Latino Commencement Celebration, Fresno State’s bilingual celebration that recognizes each graduate on stage will be available March 2- April 5.

The ceremony is open to any University student planning to graduate with the Class of 2018.

The deadline is April 5 to submit the CLCC Participation Form (online) and pay the non-refundable $35 fee, which includes a listing in the commemorative program book. After that date, the cost is $45 and names will not appear in the book.

This year’s celebration will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 19, at the Save Mart Center (the University Main Commencement is that morning). Academic regalia (cap and gown) is required and may be purchased at the Kennel Bookstore.

The CLCC is under the Division of Academic Affairs Office and primarily coordinated by a committee of Fresno State faculty and staff volunteers in partnership with the Latina/o Faculty and Staff Association.

Updates, a list of frequently asked questions, instructions for graduates and galleries of past celebrations are available at the website. Students are also encouraged to attend Grad Fest in March at the bookstore.
