CineCulture will present “Yeva” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Building Room 191). Yeva is a young woman who escapes her influential in-laws with her daughter following her husband’s tragic death, and takes refuge in one of the villages of Karabakh, Armenia.

The film will be shown in Armenian with English subtitles. Professor Barlow Der Mugrdechian will direct a discussion following the film. The screening is sponsored by The Armenian Studies Program. Admission and parking are free in lots P3 and P2. CineCulture is a film series provided as a service to Fresno State students, faculty, staff and the community.
