The Cadence Ensemble will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Friday, April 26, at the Fresno State Concert Hall. The Cadence Ensemble was formed in 2014 by five Armenian instrumentalists to promote the music of Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla. Since then, they developed into one of the world’s premier ensembles performing original works and arrangements by classical and contemporary European, Russian, Armenian and American composers.

The concert, part of the Music Series of the Philip Lorenz International Keyboard Concert Series, is co-sponsored by the Armenian Studies Program, Thomas A. Kooyumjian Family Foundation, the Armenian General Benevolent Union’s Fresno Chapter and the Orpheus Chamber Music Ensemble. Tickets are $25 general admission, $18 for seniors and $5 for students.
