No classes will be held at Fresno State on Thursday and Friday, May 9 and 10, the designated time for exam prep and consultation for faculty and students. Final exams will take place May 13 through 16.

The Henry Madden Library will be open 24 hours for finals week, effective from noon Sunday, May 12, until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16.

The University Student Union’s adjusted hours for finals week will be 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. Monday through Thursday, May 13 through 16. There will be special activities and free food during the Finals Cram Jam. University Student Union summer hours can be found online.

The Kennel Bookstore is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 9 and 10. During finals week, it is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 13 through 16, and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 17.

The Financial Aid Office will observe its usual hours through May 17, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Parking on campus will be relaxed on Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18, when convocation and commencement ceremonies will be taking place around campus. The 108th annual University Commencement will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Save Mart Center.

The Gibson Farm Market will retain its normal hours for consultation days and finals week.

Summer hours

Most offices on campus, including Financial Aid and Continuing and Global Education, will observe summer hours, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., effective May 20 through Aug. 9. A 30-minute lunch break for office staff is scheduled from noon to 12:30 p.m.

The Passport Place is open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. weekdays.

About 150 courses are offered during the summer through Continuing and Global Education. Course meeting times vary and can be found online.

The Madden Library will be closed on weekends, Memorial Day and July 4, but open weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the summer.

Kennel Bookstore summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. On days when Dog Days events are happening on campus, the bookstore will stay open until 5 p.m.

Carpool parking in Lot P30 will be unavailable during the summer. Other parking will follow usual permit rules.

Campus will be closed May 27 for Memorial Day and July 4 for Independence Day. Fall 2019 semester instruction begins Wednesday, Aug. 21.
