CSU Summer Arts will host the first of two student showcase festivals, beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Fresno State. The showcase will end with a final performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the John Wright Theatre. All performances, exhibits and readings during the festival will take place at various locations on campus including the John Wright Theatre, Conley Art Gallery and the Concert Hall.
Participants will present their original solo performances, showcase dynamic dance routines and exhibit one-of-a-kind artwork. The final show will be action-packed with students interpreting some of Shakespeare’s most famous fight scenes as they act and demonstrate their stage-fighting acumen
