The Fresno State Winery’s third vintage of its Graduate’s Reserve red wine blend is now available for pre-order and perfect for graduation celebrations and gifts. The limited edition wine is a red wine blend of campus-crafted favorites that includes a base of its Zinfandel Sargent from the Amador Valley, Alicante Bouschet from Papagni Vineyards in Madera, and three campus vineyard favorites — Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Touriga.

The blend was created by the winery’s five senior student assistants who are graduating with viticulture and enology degrees this month: Wen-Yin “Bella” Chueh, Meah Dickson, Karina Garcia, Sedona Howell and Patrick Hungate. Cost is $12 per bottle, with 10% off for three or more bottles if ordered online, with pick-up available starting Monday, May 8, at the winery (2360 E. Barstow Ave) weekdays between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The wine will also be available at the Gibson Farm Market starting Saturday, May 6, without the discount. The nation’s largest and first bonded campus winery has received over 300 awards in respected wine-tasting competitions. Students make 15 to 20 varieties of wines each year from high-quality grapes sourced from the Central Valley and other respected vineyards from the Central Coast and Northern California.
