Fresno State is among the best colleges and universities nationwide that combine quality and affordability, receiving a 4.5-star rating on a 5-star scale in Money’s new 2023 Best Colleges rating published on June 22.
The online financial publication assigned colleges and universities with a rating on a 5-star scale instead of a numbered ranking this year to help families with their college search by showing the variety and diversity of high-value colleges in the U.S. Money rated 736 schools on 26 factors in quality, affordability and outcomes, the same as previous years.
Fresno State also appeared on the Best Public Colleges and Best Colleges in the West sublists.
Last year, Fresno State ranked No. 29 on the Best Colleges list, No. 25 for Best Public Colleges and No. 17 for Best College in the West.
