Students will be selected to participate on a team for Fresno State’s Alternative Spring Break (March 25-29). Students can choose to participate via one of three projects.

The first team will work with Scout Island on projects such as habitat maintenance and invasive species removal along the banks of the San Joaquin River. The second team will partner with Stone Soup to lead a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) camp and host a Fresno State Outreach Day for community children and families. The third team will work with Poverello House on packaging grocery meal bags, meal prep and serving the homeless population in Fresno.

All candidates must submit an application and participate in an interview in order to be considered. Applicants must be dedicated to the program, have the desire to serve those in their community and be ready to have fun.
