The ethics of employee monitoring, a revolution in Central Valley freight shipping and the emotional rewards of family business will be the topics at the next Craig Talks, happening at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the Alice Peters Auditorium (University Business Center). Members of the public, the business community and Fresno State faculty, students and staff are encouraged to attend.

Speakers will include Dr. Zhanna Sahatjian on the use and abuse of employee monitoring software, Dr. Aly Tawfik and Simran Jhutti on the TradePort California project, and Dr. Fernando Parra on the emotional rewards and unique challenges of family business. The presentations are adapted from the speakers’ articles in the spring 2024 Craig’s Central California Business Review magazine, which will be distributed free at Craig Talks.

Craig Talks will begin with networking and refreshments at the University Business Center gallery at 5 p.m., followed by presentations in the auditorium from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and a post-presentation mixer from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Craig Talks is free and open to the public. Free parking is available on request.
