San Joaquin River Parkway and Trust Inc. will present “Party 09. Progressive Dinner Party: Supper With Science!” at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in the Science 1 building at Fresno State. The event will offer an up-close look at the advanced university laboratories and classrooms of today. Dinner and dessert will be featured along with Fresno State’s award-winning wine. They will also meet faculty and student researchers while learning how Fresno State’s College of Science and Mathematics is making a difference in the Central Valley. The event will be hosted by Dr. Robert Dundas, dean of the College of Science and Mathematics, and Dr. Constance Jones, chair of the Psychology Department. Tickets can be purchased at San Joaquin River Parkway’s website: $100 for members and $110 for non-members (a limited 16 guest spots will be available).
