April 22-23: Guitar Festival 2006 in Wahlberg Recital Hall in the Music Building. On April 22 at 5 p.m., San Francisco Guitar Quartet, $12 general admission, $7 faculty/staff/students/seniors. April 23: Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concert series — 8 p.m., Concert Hall, Maria Amirkhanian and Andreas Werz will be featured playing the piano. $10 general admission, $6 seniors, $4 students.
April 24-May 19: Will Portis art exhibit in the Lyles Gallery of the Speech Arts Building. May 5: Philip Lorenz Keyboard Concerts series — 8 p.m., Concert Hall. A French themed program will feature Pascal Rog& an award-winning French pianist. This will be the finale of the Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts series’ 34th season. May 14: Fresno Community Chorus — “Coro Piccolo,” 8 p.m., Concert Hall. The 35-member chamber ensemble will present Gioachino Rossini’s “Petite Messe Solennelle” under the direction of Anna Hamre. Featured are soloists Brigid deJong, Crissand Darling, Randolph Lacy and John Karr, pianist Joy Gaje and Catherine Walker on organ.
