Vintage Days and Fresno television station KSEE24 are searching for top talent to perform April 21 at the station’s 2012 concert series debut at Fresno State and eventually attend the final competition on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

Open auditions are scheduled 2:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Satellite Student Union (on the north end of the Maple Mall). Participants must be 15-28 years old and must complete an entry form.

The KSEE24 Concert Series Kick-off will be held the first day of Vintage Days (April 20-22), the annual celebration that brings more than 50,000 people from across the central San Joaquin Valley to campus for a crafts fair, food and game booths, Kids Zone and concerts.

The TV station has for many years sponsored a public summer concert series with established local musical performers and an opportunity for newcomers to be in the spotlight, too.

In addition to performing at Vintage Days, the audition winner will compete in the station’s on-line talent competition. Concert series performances are uploaded to www.ksee24.com for voting. The winner will receive $500 and two tickets to attend the finale of “America’s Got Talent” in Los Angeles and also will get to produce a music video.

Entry forms for the audition are available at the Student Involvement Center (University Student Union, Room 306) or online at ksee.com.
