The Fresno State Opera Theatre presents its second fall semester production “Some of This, Some of That” at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9. The shows, performed by an opera theatre music ensemble class with 26 students, feature opera scenes in the first half and scenes from contemporary musical theatre shows in the second half. The program was designed by Constantine Pappas, a senior music major from Fresno who attended Clovis East High School. He directs the second half and performs a solo. The performance also includes a short preview of opera Carmen. That production is scheduled for the spring semester and will be performed with a full orchestra.
