Fresno poet, editor Jon Veinberg reads Feb. 13

Jon Veinberg, a Fresno State alumnus and two-time recipient of National Endowment for the Arts grants in poetry, reads at 7 p.m. Friday (Feb. 13) in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Business building, room 191). Author of many poetry collections, including the new “Angels at Bus Stops” from the University of Washington Press, Veinberg has also co-edited multiple Central Valley poetry anthologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fresno State and a master’s of fine arts in writing from UC Irvine. The reading is the third in the Spring 2015 Reading Series hosted by the Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing at Fresno State and the Fresno Poets’ Association.
