California State University Trustee William Hauck died March 7. Appointed to the CSU Board of Trustees in 1993, Hauck was one of the longest-serving members on the board. The San José State University alumnus was vice chair from 1996 to 1998 and chair from 1998 to 2000. At the time of his death, Hauck chaired the board’s finance committee. It is the second loss of a CSU trustee this year. Dr. Peter G. Mehas, a Fresno State alumnus, died in September. See CSU press release.
