Dr. Robert P. Sellers, chair of Parliament of the World’s Religions, will visit the Fresno State Peace Garden at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15. The Parliament is the oldest and the largest interfaith peace organization and movement, said Dr. Sudarshan Kapoor, professor emeritus of Social Work, who is arranging the campus visit. It was created to cultivate harmony among the world’s religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the world and its guiding institutions to achieve a just, peaceful and sustainable world. Sellers is in town to meet with religious leaders of Fresno at the Islamic Cultural Center. Kapoor attended the 2015 Parliament in October held in Salt Lake City.  INFO:  Kapoor at 559.435.2212.
