Murals by Daniel “Tio Chano” Gonzales, a muralist during Chicano Movement of the mid-1970’s, will be presented from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 26, in the Henry Madden Library 2206 at Fresno State. Gonzales painted in the barrios and communities of Riverside, Chino, Corona, Pomona and Ontario. “Murales de mi Tio” will be presented by Phil Gonzales, assistant professor in the Department of Chicano and Latin American Studies.
