Death row exoneree Isaiah McCoy will share his path to freedom from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in McLane Hall (room121).

McCoy was released from prison in January after spending seven years on death row. He was wrongfully convicted for the murder of a 30-year-old man in a drug deal. The Delaware Supreme Court overturned McCoy’s conviction due to eyewitness misidentification, informant testimony and prosecutorial misconduct.

The free public event will be hosted by the College of Social Sciences.
