Fresno State will be accepting student applications for the spring 2018 semester from new upper-division transfer applicants and graduate students starting on August 1, 2017. The application deadline is August 31, 2017.

Only students in these two categories are eligible to apply for spring admission:

  • New upper division transfer applicants who have completed all transfer admission requirements by earning an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) by the end of fall 2017 (SB 1440 program). The recommended GPA for applying is 2.5.
  • Graduate and post baccalaureate: open to new and returning applicants in selected graduate and credential programs.

“Fresno State is impacted at the transfer level, and with limited space availability upper division transfer applicants who have or will have completed their Associate Degree for Transfer by fall 2017 will be considered,” said Malisa Lee, associate vice president of enrollment management in the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. “The University is closed for the spring semester to applications from first-time freshmen, lower division transfers, upper division transfers who will not receive an ADT, returning students and second baccalaureate students,” Lee said.

Applicants must have their Associate Degree for Transfer and must at least meet the admissions GPA requirement of 2.5 with all grades through summer 2017.

Fresno State is also accepting applications for post-baccalaureate students. Students are encouraged to visit www.fresnostate.edu/gradstudies for further information and deadline dates on the specific graduate programs.
